Dr. Dongfang Wang is a specially appointed research fellow in the School of Biomedical Engineering at USTC. He received a doctoral degree from the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. He did postdoctoral research at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, and Emory University, USA, from August 2014 to July 2022. In August 2022, he joined USTC Life Sciences and Medicine and SIAR. His main research interests are in DNA nanotechnology and biomedical applications, which use the structural properties of DNA molecules to realize different ways of molecular self-assembly and enable the construction of various complex DNA nanostructures in order to apply them into biomedical-related research. He has published nearly 20 SCI papers since he was engaged in research, including 10 papers in J. Am. Chem. Soc, Nano Letters, Nature Protocols, Angew. Chem. Int.
