Dr. Qi Zhang, a researcher and doctoral supervisor at USTC, is mainly engaged in quantum biosensing research, developing microscopic magnetic resonance technology for life science applications through solid-state spins like the nitrogen-vacancy center as quantum sensors. He has completed the construction of a light-detected magnetic resonance spectrometer and achieved a series of results on the home-made spectrometer. Related papers have been published in Science, Phys. Rev. Lett., Nat. Commun. and Nano Lett as the first/co-author. One of his achievements has been listed in China’s Top Ten Scientific Advances (2015). He has won the Science and Technology Special Award of China Association for Instrumental Analysis (CAIA), etc. He is the reviewer of Phys. Rev. Lett. and PRX Quantum.
