Chu Kaiqin

Dr. Kaiqin Chu is a specially appointed research fellow and doctoral supervisor at SIAR, USTC. She received a bachelor’s degree in physics from Nankai University in 1995, a master’s degree in physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2002, and a doctoral degree in optics from the University of Rochester in 2009, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship and the project scientist at the University of California, Davis. From September 2015 to December 2021, she was a specially appointed research fellow in Precision Machinery and Instrumentation at USTC. Her current main research interests are multimodal high spatial and temporal resolution microscopy and portable biomedical instrumentation for the observation and analysis of living cells and model organisms.
