Dr. Sanyou Chen is a specially appointed research fellow at SIAR, USTC. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the College of Life Sciences & Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2008 and his doctoral degree (supervised by Academician Xu Tao) in Biological Physics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2014, followed by his postdoctoral research (supervised by Academician Du Jiangfeng) in the School of Physical Sciences at USTC in 2015. He joined SIAR in 2022. He is mainly engaged in interdisciplinary research on microscopic magnetic resonance technology and its biomedical applications, as well as research on regulatory mechanisms of intracellular membrane transport and related diseases. His main research results have been published as first or co-first author in international academic journals like PNAS (2 papers) and Science Advances. Five invention patents have been applied in total. He has led 8 research projects including those of the National Key Research and Development Program.
